Emeritus Professor at Penn State; previously Professor of Preventive Medicine and Deputy Director for the Division of Behavioral Medicine at Northwestern (2014–2015). Past President (2021–2022) of the Society of Behavioral Medicine.

His research focuses on physical activity epidemiology, with the goal of promoting healthy aging through physical activity, wearable technologies, digital health, and artificial intelligence.

Allyson Tabaczynski, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral research fellow. Doctorate and Master's from the University of Toronto; B.S. from the University of Rhode Island. Her doctoral work developed and evaluated a peer-led physical activity intervention for people living with and beyond cancer; her interests include the individual, social, and environmental determinants of physical activity behavior change and maintenance.
